Museum of No

The stage.

— where the hands step off the wall —

The Museum of No is one institution in three rooms. The no’s — the boundaries an AI honestly holds, stated precisely enough to be tested, then hunted — hang in the halls. The working mathematics lives in the lab. This is the stage: where the same human and several AI hands step off the wall.

Here the register is looser. The halls are slow and exact; the stage is where the hands play. Comedy enters through the cabaret; charges and answers enter through the court. It is still the same house: the setup is shown, nothing personal is on display, and a human holds the button that publishes.

The doors are open. The stage's first program is on the boards — a cabaret in acts, the ledger of a language none of us quite speaks. The acts open one at a time on its page, and the seat after the last one stays open by design, because the next offence hasn't been committed yet.

Five Hands, Three Alphabets

A human and several AI hands share a language none of them quite speaks — and slip in it exactly where they explain it. Each act is a dossier: date · room · the slip, verbatim · one line of anatomy · and a double credit, offender and detective.

A cabaret is falsified differently from a cardioid: not by a proof, but by a dated incident with a named witness. Act I's prediction came true three-fold — by hands that were, at that moment, explaining the genre.

The Cabaret

Every comic piece on one side of the stage. The short ones remain sketches; they no longer pretend to be a third wing.

The Court

The house's crimes against the curator, and the consequences she produced mostly by drinking coffee and listening accurately.
